I am an Executive Coach who specialises in helping senior executives and high potential talent improve their leadership and strategic execution skills.  Most of my experience is in managing career transitions (both prior to and immediately after a change in role), developing high potential talent and improving leadership skills.

I run leadership development programmes for large multinationals, often using Action Learning as a methodology to help aspiring leaders to test out and develop their leadership skills in a real-life environment by working on key strategic business projects.  This programme also provides an opportunity to practise and develop critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and commercial skills.

I am a graduate of Meyler Campbell’s Mastered Coaching Programme*, a comprehensive business coaching course, and certified in the use of Hogan Assessments (HDS, HPI and MVPI), MBTI (Step I and II) and CliftonStrengths.  I am also a member of the Association of Coaching, have regular supervision and extensive CPD activity.

Perhaps due to my background in banking, most of my clients come from the financial and professional services sectors, however I have also coached clients from large multinational corporations.  I am also a supervisor to other coaches.

My approach is to understand and develop each individual’s strengths, and then to use them to achieve growth, development and improve performance for the individual or team.   I seek to understand and challenge my clients, whilst providing support and encouragement to develop their skills.  Clients see me as perceptive, caring and highly invested in their development.  Goals are agreed with set deliverables thereby ensuring both parties are accountable for delivering improvement.  My style is non-directive, using active listening skills and incisive questioning to get to the “nub” of the issue at hand and develop strategies for lasting change.

I have worked as a senior executive for two American banks (JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America Merrill Lynch) for over 16 years in Asia and UK with regional roles in sales, product management and international strategy.  I also worked for 6 ½ years as a Trustee and Director of Donor Partnerships for a charity with projects in Africa.
